Cocoon Dresses

I was very inspired by cocoons and the idea of a protective sheath. Curvature is expressed heavily in the detailing and in the silhouette of each look.

The Serpent Vs. The Raptor

A fairy called Ginger.

Ginger was actually a happy accident. Her body was meant to be a smaller part of a larger piece that I will post soon. I started playing around and Ginger was born. Her wings as you can see are detachable. She is the first of many fairies, I intend to make.

Blue Bear

Lucky Diaz and Alisha Gaddis of "Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band" asked me to make this piece to be featured in their music video for their single titled, "Blue Bear." Check their music out at http://www.luckydiazmusic.com and be sure to follow them on Facebook and Twitter so you can watch Blue Bear's screen debut.

Ink. The Striped Squid

Ink is a favorite of mine. Probably because, I spent forever stuffing his fat head and all eight of his legs.

Joey

I made this piece for a very good friend of mine, Joey Chou. Check out his work at http://www.joeyart.com If you take a peek at his bio you might see my inspiration.

Reaping What I Sew

One of my all time favorite movies is "The Seventh Seal" by the brilliant Ingmar Bergman. The Grim Reaper brought to life by Bergman is a cinematic classic. In no way could I ever eclipse his imagery so I aimed for a not so classic take on the Grim Reaper.

Yang is Born

Yang is yin's counterpart. The other side of the whole. Forces interconnected and dependent on the other to exist. There can never only be one. Without up there is no down, without sky there is no earth, without stillness there is no motion. Yin is the stillness and yang is the motion, yin is the internal force and yang the external. My internalized ideas can no longer be contained. They have reached their maximum. What follows is the external interpretation of my internal force. When yin has reached its maximum, yang is born.
